How to Get a Puppy
Puppy Reservation & Payment Information
If you're interested in a puppy from Childs Bulldogs, please submit an application. You'll be asked to provide some details about yourself and what you are looking for, so we can help match you with the perfect puppy. Once you apply, Jessica will get back to you with information about availability, pricing, and next steps.
Deposit (Holding Fee)
- To reserve a puppy, a $500 non-refundable deposit is required within 24 hours of requesting a reservation.
- For puppies priced over $5,000, a 10% deposit is required.
- Deposits can be made via Apple Pay, Zelle, Venmo, or Bank Transfer.
- Note: Cash App and Venmo deposits will incur a $10 fee.
- Bank Transfers will incur a $25 fee.
Final Payment
- For local pick-ups: Final payments must be made in cash only at the time of pick-up.
- For Flight Nanny deliveries: Final payments must be made 3 days prior to the puppy leaving. We accept Apple Pay, Zelle, or Bank Transfer for these payments.
- Note: Bank transfers are subject to a $25 fee.
Additional Information
- Puppy Pricing: Prices for our puppies start at $3,500 and up.
- Go-Home Date: Puppies go home 8 weeks after birth.
- Puppies Held After 8 Weeks: If a puppy remains with us past 8 weeks, a $100/week boarding fee will apply, plus any additional vet visits needed.
- Exception: If the hold is due to flight arrangements, the fee will not apply.

Deposit & Payment Information
Deposit/Holding Fee:
- A non-refundable deposit (holding fee) is required to reserve a puppy. The deposit must be received within 24 hours of requesting a reservation, or the puppy will be made available to the next buyer in line.
- The deposit can be sent via Bank Transfer, Apple Pay, Zelle, Venmo, or Cash App.
- Non-refundable deposits are transferable to another puppy if available or to a future litter.
Deposit Payment Fees:
- Bank Transfer: $25 fee for all bank transfers.
- Venmo & Cash App: $10 fee for both Venmo and Cash App payments.
- Apple Pay & Zelle: No additional fees.
Remaining Balance:
- The remaining balance is due in full by 8 weeks of age or at the time of pickup/delivery.
- If you are picking up your puppy in person, the final balance may be paid upon pickup.
- If we are using a Flight Nanny for delivery, the final balance must be paid in full 3 days prior to the puppy’s flight.
Payment Plans:
- We offer payment plans for both current and future litters. Please contact us to discuss setting up a payment plan.
- All puppies must be paid in full by 8 weeks of age, including any shipping fees.
Extended Hold & Shipping Fees:
- Holds past 8 weeks: If you need us to hold your puppy beyond the 8-week mark, we are happy to arrange it with prior approval. A $100 weekly fee will be charged for each week beyond 8 weeks until the puppy is picked up or shipped.
- Shipping fees: Shipping costs can increase if the puppy’s weight changes, so please be aware that shipping fees may rise as the puppy grows.
- Buyers are responsible for any additional shipping fees if the puppy exceeds weight limits.
- Puppies over 20 pounds will need to be shipped via Ground Shipping rather than air travel.
Important Notes:
- Deposits are non-refundable but transferable to another available puppy or future litter.
- Balance is due in full by 8 weeks of age, including any shipping fees.
- Final payments for puppies being shipped with a Flight Nanny must be received 3 days prior to the delivery.

How Do I Get My Puppy Home?
You’ve found your perfect puppy, now let’s get them safely to you! Here are the options:
Pick Up in Florida:
- In person: Visit us in Port Saint Lucie, FL to pick up your puppy.
- Breeder's airport: Meet us at a local airport such as Vero Beach, Melbourne, Palm Beach, or Orlando.
Flight Nanny:
- Have your puppy flown to your nearest airport in-cabin with a Flight Nanny.
- Shipping fees are paid directly to the Flight Nanny company (we do not handle payment or contracts for shipping).
Important Details for Flight Nanny:
- Please contact us with your preferred dates and airport options (if more than one). We will reach out to our Flight Nanny service for quotes.
- Puppies or adults over 20 lbs may incur additional fees.
- Flight Nanny services may also handle out-of-country deliveries—we’ll confirm approval for international flights.
- Deposit: Flight Nanny requires their own deposit and payment. Please contact them directly to arrange this.
Shipping Costs:
- Hand delivery: $450-$900 (depending on location, within the U.S. lower 48 states).
- Private Flight Nanny: $450-$900 (subject to change).
- Hawaii, Alaska, Canada: Contact us for a price quote.
Note: Prices are subject to change and will be confirmed prior to departure. All shipping fees and contracts are handled directly with the Flight Nanny company once a puppy deposit has been made.
