Exceptional Young Adults Looking for Their Forever Home

At Childs Bulldogs, we occasionally offer some of our adult dogs for adoption, either as pets or with breeding rights to qualified homes. These dogs have been raised in our home, where they receive the utmost care, training, and attention. We are looking for 5-star homes that can offer a loving and nurturing environment for these incredible dogs.

• Fully Health Tested: All of our adult dogs are DNA tested and have received comprehensive health testing. We ensure that each dog is in top health, free from any genetic issues, and is ready to be placed in the right home.
• Healthy & Allergy-Free: All of our adult dogs are healthy, and there are no known allergies. We take pride in maintaining the health and wellness of every dog in our care, ensuring they are free from any health conditions or sensitivities.
• Up-to-Date Health Care:
  
  • All of our adult dogs are up-to-date on their yearly healthcare examinations.
  • They are fully vaccinated, microchipped, and have received heartworm prevention (ProHeart 12) for the year.
• High-Quality Diet: We feed all of our dogs a high-quality, premium dog food to ensure they maintain their health and well-being. We use FARMINA dog food, which provides the proper nutrition they need to stay strong and healthy.
• Training & Socialization: All of our adult dogs are raised in our home and are well-socialized, trained, and accustomed to family life. They are family-friendly and ready to be part of a new household.
• Spay/Neuter Contract:
  
  • All dogs will leave with a spay/neuter contract unless purchased with breeding rights.
  • Spay/neuter must be completed within 60 days unless full breeding rights are purchased.
• AKC Registration: All of our adult dogs are AKC registered, and AKC papers will be provided.

• Pet Home Adoption:
  
  • Our adult dogs are available for adoption as pets under a spay/neuter contract.
  • Pricing for pet adoption is discussed on a case-by-case basis, depending on the dog’s age, temperament, and other factors.
• Breeding Rights Option:
  
  • We do offer some of our adult dogs with breeding rights to approved homes.
  • Breeding rights are offered to small, responsible breeders who adhere to ethical breeding practices. Pricing for breeding rights will be discussed privately.

We are looking for forever homes that meet the following criteria:

• 5-Star Homes: We want to ensure that our dogs are going to loving families who will treat them like family members.
• Experienced Pet Owners: We prefer homes where owners have experience with dogs and understand the responsibilities of having an adult dog in their home.
• Responsible Breeders (for breeding rights): If purchasing with breeding rights, we will carefully evaluate potential breeders to ensure they align with our values and ethical standards.

We want to ensure that both the dog and the family are fully comfortable with the transition. For this reason, we offer a 30-day acclimation period to allow the dog to adjust to their new home and for the family to ensure they’re the right fit.

• During this period, we ask that the family communicates with us regularly to provide updates and discuss the dog’s progress.
• If, for any reason, the adoption does not work out or the family feels that the dog is not the right fit, we request that they contact us immediately.
• Under no circumstances will our dogs or puppies be rehomed to another family, sent to a shelter, or placed anywhere other than with Childs Bulldogs. If the adoption is not successful, we will take the dog back and ensure it is placed in a new, loving home through our program.

• Location: Our dogs are located in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
• Local Pick-Up: You are welcome to visit our home and meet the dogs before making a decision.
• Meet at Local Airport: If you're not local, we are willing to meet you at a local airport for a puppy/dog exchange.
• Shipping Available: For long-distance adopters within driving range of Florida, we are open to shipping arrangements, but only for younger dogs or puppies. Older dogs will not be shipped due to anxiety concerns during flights.

At Childs Bulldogs, we prioritize placing our adult dogs in local homes within the state of Florida or nearby areas for the following reasons:

• Why Local?
  Due to the stress and potential risks of flying, especially for older dogs, we do not ship adult dogs across the country. Flying can be a traumatic experience for many dogs, and we feel the anxiety and potential complications during transport make it unsuitable for our adult dogs. Therefore, we prefer to place our dogs in homes that are within driving distance to Port Saint Lucie, Florida, so they can remain close to us.
• Meet in Person
  We encourage families to visit our home in Port Saint Lucie to meet the dogs in person. This gives you the opportunity to interact with the dogs and ensure it’s a good match for both your family and the dog.
• Local Transport
  For families within driving distance, we are happy to personally transport the dog to your home, ensuring a smooth and safe transition. We want to make sure the dog is comfortable and that you feel confident in the adoption process.
